 ⏩ The Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is the airport of Mumbai city in India.

 ⏩ Earlier it was known as Sahar International Airport.

 ⏩ The Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport covers an area of 1,450 acres and is located in the Mumbai suburbs of Santa Cruz and Sahar.

⏩ The Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport opened in 1942.

⏩The airport is operated by Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL),
             A Joint Venture between the Airports Authority of India and the GVK Industries Ltd..

 ⏩ The airport is India's biggest International and domestic hub.

 ⏩ Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport consists of two terminals:                                             
      Terminal 1(Domestic Terminal)
      Terminal 2(International Terminal)

 ⏩ Terminal 1 is further divided into Terminal 1A and Terminal 1B :
                     Terminal 1A serves Indian, Alliance Air, Kingfisher Airlines and Go-Air.
                     Terminal 1B serves Deccan Air, Jet and other private domestic carriers.

⏩ Terminal 2 is now Terminal 2A and Terminal 2B :
                    Terminal 2A serves general International airlines whereas
                    Terminal 2B exclusively operates nationalized government carriers Air India and Air India express and which are served by Air India ground operations.


⏩ Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is constantly being upgraded to make the complex compatible with new generation of airplanes.
